Overhaul Engineer
Location: Taman Taming Jaya, Belakong.
Salary: up to RM4,000
Job Type: Permanent; Full Time
WORKING HOURS:
Mon – Fri 8am -5:45pm
JOB FUNCTION:
• Responsible for repairing & overhaul of all production machines and parts related to mechanical and electrical.
REQUIREMENTS:
A.General
• Actively participate and follow all the safety rules & regulations.
• Adhere and follow all the rules & regulation of company from time to time.
• Must have knowledge of safety work procedure to handle machinery and electrical jobs.
• Must have good knowledge in mechanical drawing, electrical circuit diagram drawing and basic skills in PLC system.
• Other duties as assigned by manager and above levels.
• Must be highly motivated with positive attitude and self-driven.
• Actively involved in other ad hoc project that might be assigned by management and undertake other necessary functions as determine from time to time by the superior.
• Must have a knowledge of necessary spare parts quantity and price, based on practical experience.
• Have ability and understand for work out budget and manage expenses.
• Managing stock control of spare parts & tools, if needs purchase , prepare and issue Purchase Request (PR).
• Manage the record & report of section activity (daily/periodically), overhaul jobs status and improvement activity.
• Establish and manage document and training to maintain the best product quality and with high productivity.
• Responsible, reliable, punctual and independent personality.
• Able to perform Over-Time work if necessary for job completion.
• Ability to make decision and well stress management.
• Excellent communication skills with all levels.
B.ISO/IATF/QMS
• Receive and register for all kind of documents for detail engineering overhaul jobs including in-house generated documents.
• Maintain specifically assigned project overhaul database record.
• Perform document quality check in accordance to Company and Engineering Department document control procedures.
• Actively involve in maintain and update all relateds documents for ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001 & IATF16949
• Train and manage subordinates according to the Company and Engineering Department control procedures.
JOB DUTIES:
• Provides overhaul repair jobs by observing mechanical and electrical devices in operation by handling equipment such as using precision measuring and testing instruments, electric meters, power tools, and material handling equipment.
• Completes cable and parts replacement and inspection in accordance with standard procedures and engineering drawings.
• Complete spindle mechanical part replacement and inspection in accordance with standard engineering procedures.
• Organise, purchase and control of all spare parts and equipment related to Overhaul Section.
• Manage and make arrangement plan for overhaul repair jobs as well as report to superior for the job progress.
• To control expenses within the budget regarding to overhaul job works including budget preparation.
• Keep and maintain all necessary documents related to Overhaul Section.
• Control and maintain of history record for spindle part and machine.
• Maintain safety & housekeeping for Overhaul area including involve actively in Safety and 5S audit.
• Maintain and keep control waste management procedure for Overhaul Section.
• Liaise and maintain good communication with other Department, Sections and co-workers.
• Responsible for software programming, testing and commissioning of overhauled machines.
• Follow up and take action for any other ad-hoc job that be assigned by superiors occasionally.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Background study in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic or have good experiences in those area
• Should have 4-5 years knowledge and experience of Electric and Mechanical, preferably with hands-on experience. (Must)
• Obtain handling skill of factory automation related instruments (Robot / servo / sensor / touch panel etc.)
• Have knowledge of both pneumatic & hydraulic pressure machine. (Lubrication/Grease). (Must)
• Have practical/hands-on in maintenance experience of pneumatic & hydraulic pressure. (Must)
• Able to read mechanical drawings and electronic schematics to ensure product specification and tolerances are met.
• Have control skill of relay sequence(relay / electromagnetic switch /timer / semicon relay)
• Train skill and technical knowledge to subordinates.
• Posses own transport
