Production Engineering Department Head (Japanese Speaker)
Salary: up to RM10,000
Location: Taman Perindustrian Batu Kawan, Pulau Penang
Job Type: Permanent; Full-Time
WORKING HOURS:
Mon – Fri 8:00AM – 5:15PM
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Formulate, support and implement the Company Quality Policy and ISO 9001 specifications.
* Ensure design products are delivered at competitive cost.
* Coordinate the completion of the various projects.
* Provide customer service.
* Participate in the research and development of new products to keep up with market trends.
* Hold regular meetings with staff on job requirements.
* Ensure that staff are aware of project cost price.
* Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and confirm to customer’s specifications.
* Aware and keep record of project expenditure at various stages.
* Ensure designer responsible for the design of the various modules/complete system product confirm to customer’s specification.
* Responsible for training of new staff and staff appraisals.
* Responsible for upgrading staff technical knowledge by sending them to seminars etc.
* To consider and approve suggestions and improvement from the team.
* To direct and lead the team to achieve company’s objectives.
* To approve drawings / design related documents / ISO related documents.
* To approve plan on the designing software, tools and equipment need to superior.
* To approve any purchase request.
*Any other job related activity/assignment as directed by the superior.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering of related field.
* Min 5 years production engineering experience in manufacturing background
* Ability to plan, lead and coordinate with own department with other related party.
* Great time management, independent worker and fast learner.
* Japanese Speaker with JLPT N1
* Possess own transport
