Senior Developer of Logistics Department

Mon – Fri 0830am – 1800pm
JOB OVERVIEW:
* As a Senior Developer of the logistics solutions team, will be responsible for supporting all aspects of logistics software, and operations, ensuring smooth and efficient technology support for our users and business needs.
* Will be involved in implementation and development new solutions such as WMS, TMS or any other logistics /supply chain solutions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Engage in the development, implementation and support of logistics package software developed by Company Solutions Japan (Our main customer will be our Company group company in APAC)
• Participate in full project life cycle from requirements gathering to project implementation, maintenance and support for Company developed logistics applications (VB.Net/Java).
• Ensure that the developed modules/deliverables meet expectation, quality standards and within schedule.
• Maintain applications according to SLAs and solve complex performance problems and bug fixing.
• Participate in continuous integration activities and automation framework for testing and deployment.
• Document and maintain design specifications, source code, and archives for new applications and ideas.
• Commit to continuous improvement and refinement of Company methodology and delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and lead team members.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine project requirements.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Candidates must possess at least Bachelor Degree, Professional Degree or Master’s Degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other equivalent.
• Work experience:
➢ Required: Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in software full-cycle development and Technical lead experience
➢ Preferable: Project management experience
• Familiarity with programming languages:
➢ Required: Java
➢ Preferable: .NET + PL/SQL (Oracle)
• Familiarity with relational database software (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, any other relational database).
• Experience in database design and development.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g. AngularJS, Bootstrap, Ionic Framework etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud computing (e.g. Amazon Web Service, Microsoft Azure Cloud etc.).
• Familiarity with integration methods (e.g. RESTful APIs, SOAP, OAuth, and other methods).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and development tools (e.g., Visual Studio, Eclipse etc.).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Motivated, quick learner and passion for new technologies.
• Able to work independently, detail-oriented, and have strong problem-solving skills.
• A mentor/leader and a team-player at the same time.
• Preferable experience in development for logistics or supply chain management software.
• Preferable experience is implementation of Business Applications. (Prioritized over Web-based Applications)
• Preferable familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
